Boop is made and sold by its independent developer ("I" and "me" below). These terms cover downloading, trying and subscribing to Boop. By using Boop you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, write to help@boopanimator.com.
The free trial
You can download Boop and use all of it free for 14 days, without paying anything. When the trial ends, you need a subscription to keep using it.
Your subscription
- Boop costs $6.99 a month, plus any tax that applies where you live.
- Payments are taken by Stripe. Your subscription renews each month until you cancel it.
- You can cancel any time. Boop keeps working until the end of the month you have paid for.
- If the price ever changes, I will email you at least 30 days before your next payment, and you can cancel before it applies.
- Refunds are covered on the refunds page.
Your licence to use Boop
While your trial or subscription is active, you may install Boop and use it for your own work, for any purpose, including commercial work. Your licence key is yours: please do not share it, sell it, or get around Boop's licence check. Boop itself stays mine - you may not resell or redistribute it.
Your work is yours
Everything you make with Boop belongs to you. I claim no rights in it, and Boop does not send your drawings anywhere.
Other people's software inside Boop
Boop includes some open-source software, such as FFmpeg for video export. Each part comes under its own licence, and those licences are included with Boop.
No guarantees
I work hard to make Boop reliable, but it is provided "as is", without any warranty. Keep backups of work that matters to you. To the extent the law allows, my total responsibility to you for anything to do with Boop is limited to what you paid for it in the 12 months before the problem.
Changes to these terms
If I change these terms in a way that matters, I will say so on this site and email subscribers before the change applies.
